ACE Documentation: Simple Car + FPGA 2024 (FINISHED) By |R-0-1-X|Ice Frost
ℹ️ ACE Field Study Report #1 This article presents my 2024 documentation on building a simple ACE car without E2, using gates or FPGA instead. *Everything is available on my GitHub, with a video linked in the final section for a quick overview.

📌Requirements and Wiring Process (CAD Style)
Note: If you’ve taken CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Manufacturing) software courses or worked in manufacturing (job) before, this style of documentation will make sense — you’ve seen this kind of paperwork before. Otherwise, it may feel very technical or complicated for the average person.
📁 Quick Documentation Showcase #1 (GATES ONLY)
Custom wiring layout designed to give new GMOD players a clear first look at ACE vehicle logic. ⚠️ This format was designed to attract new GMOD players at first glance. While it’s not perfect and the layout is still messy, it served as a starting point. Future FPGA/E2 documentation will use a cleaner, more refined blueprint.
📁 Quick Documentation Showcase #2 (FPGA Setup)
FPGA Setup ❔ FPGA chip installation instructions are provided in the GitHub package "Field Study ACE (Engineer Style) Simple Car + FPGA"
📁 Quick Documentation Showcase #3 (Process Sheet)
Aka manufacturing process sheet just for this complicated addon! ⚠️ Gate and FPGA setups use different process sheets, so make sure you’re following the right one!
