IMO we need to stay away from small maps like gm_baik_citycentre_v. Its so small that vehicles are largely ineffective as the second they leave spawn they will be targeted and most likely killed. There are very few avenues to maneuver vehicles that don't put them at constant risk. The red spawn is so open that any vehicles or infantry trying to leave are usually killed, If they do manage to exist the spawn building there is very little cover to get into map proper.

Small maps are fine but maps around that size are TOO small. gm_baik_coast_03 are frankly around the size we'd want for medium to small maps with gm_de_port_opened being probably the smallest we dare go.

Personally, curious to debate about it. Would you say if a better map vote system was introduced, would it make sense to have more maps support TPG, because there are some, who'd like to play heavy infantry focused cqb ? Personally, I love when it's not only about tanks, so I do like back city center, but at the same time I understand that point of view of yours, curious

I think good infantry maps would be fun but most of the current ones are not fairly well suited for it. A map like Dead City or similar would be better for it. Also Small map =/= infantry focused.
If we want infantry focused maps we want maps that have lots a buildings and verticality. simple small maps will if anything be an advantage for good IFVs given the lack of cover and concealment for infantry
